CELP advocates for cleaning and flowing rivers now and for generations to come. We work in Olympia to improve water management laws and to stop bills that have the potential to harm rivers and aquifers. We advocate for science-based water policy with local, state, and federal agencies. This work is largely done by collaborating with other stakeholders and agencies to solve water problems. We also provide public comments and write as well as sign on to letters regarding important water issues to urge agencies and governments to protect our natural resources.
Since 2019, we have hosted and participated in three annual Clean & Abundant Waters lobby days/weeks to gather our communities to speak with legislators about our priorities for clean flowing waters for all.
